5 cl, 40% vol, liqueur

5.00 €
In 1875, Frenchman Edouard Cointreau developed the liqueur recipe, which used different varieties of oranges.

Since then the recipe of the drink did not change. Bitter oranges are harvested during immature stage, at the time when the peel contains highest percentage of essential oil. Peel is removed by hand, separating it from white layer and dries under the sun. A mix of spirit and water is decocted on orange peel, for creation of unique aroma and taste of Cointreau.
