German liqueur Jägermeister is produced since 1935 and it is made from 56 various herbs, fruits, roots and spices including citrus peel, liquorices, anise, poppy seeds, saffron, ginger, juniper berries and ginseng. Powdered ingredients are soaked in water and alcohol, for 2-3 days. Thereafter, the mixture is filtered and aged in barrels about one year.

On the label of a bottle is portrayed a deer with a cross in the horns, according to the legend, Saint Hubert, the patron saint of hunters, saw this image in his dream.
