Onboard Meal

Onboard meal for Air Baltic Corporation airlines (airBaltic)
is provided by Airo Catering Services Latvia Ltd.

Meals can be ordered only on flights operated by airBaltic.

On codeshare flights (flight numbers: BT5000-BT9999), that are operated by other airlines,
meal pre-order service is not available.

Airo Catering Services Latvia Ltd. and AS Air Baltic Corporation reserve the right not to fulfill
or to change the order of pre-ordered meal due to Force Majeure and unforeseen obstacles
such as: flight cancelation, weather conditions, government restrictive measures, wars,
revolutions, natural disasters, strikes, lock-outs, riots, civil disturbances, equipment failure,
fire or any other reason accepted in the frames of Force Majeure.

Hot meals are available on flights, which duration exceeds 1 hour and 30 minute mark.
All other flights allow meal selection only from cold meal assortment.

In case of a change of an aircraft, due to technical reasons, depending on the type
of an aircraft hot meal can be replaced by equivalent cold meal.

In order to change or cancel an order, it is required to contact support service.
Less then 48 hours before the flight, cancelation and change of an order or refund are not possible.


Payment and Terms of Payment

Payment for goods is made via payment cards or by Swedbank Bank Link service
for account holders in AS Swedbank Latvia.

Your payment will be processed on the payment page of First Data Latvia (FDL).
After the completion of a purchase a transfer to the payment page will be done.
This page requires entering the number of the payment card, expiration date,
card security number (CVV2/CVC2), name and last name of the card holder.

The data exchange between your computer and FDL server is protected
by SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) protocol. This protocol provides information
encryption by 128-bit encryption key, which is widely recognized as a reliable
standard for data protection. The information from a payment card is
only provided to FDL and is not available to Airo Catering Services Latvia Ltd.
personnel or any other third parties.

We accept VISA and MasterCard payment cards. 


Confirmation page

After placement of an order and completion of a payment on your screen you will see a page containing confirmation and the number of your order. 
You should use this number as a reference while having conversations with support service.

Please note that you will need a printed confirmation page
in order to receive your pre-ordered meal!


Terms of Service

In case if the change of a date/time of a flight occurs more than 24 hours before scheduled
or desired departure date, you will be provided with a hot meal, but it might be different
from the one that was ordered.

In case if the change of a date/time of a flight occurs less than 24 hours before scheduled
or desired departure date, you will not be served with a hot meal and you will not get a refund,
only in case if the change occurred not by airBaltic initiative.

In case if the change of a date/time of a flight occurred due to airBaltic airlines fault,
then your order will be delivered to the changed flight.

In case if your flight is cancelled payment for meal will be refunded.

We regret that we can not guarantee all passengers with food allergies exclusion from offered
meals of such allergens as peanuts and products containing it. 

The given prices and information nullify the previously published information and can be changed
or canceled by Airo Catering Service Latvia Ltd. unilaterally.

Bank can use its own currency exchange rate and commission; therefore the final amount can be
different from the one that you see on the website.

Airo Catering Services Latvia Ltd. allows the possibility of typing and pricing errors, VAT and Duty changes,
possibility that all of the ordered goods were sold or are no longer produced, and also a possibility
that our suppliers will not deliver it to us.

Coupons

Discounts are not cumulative. The amount from electronic coupon is not refundable.

Each coupon is unique and can be used only once. Coupon has to be used before its
expiration date, which is stated on it. The expiration date of a coupon can not be prolonged.  


The applicable legal base and place of contract performance

This contract is subject to the Latvian legislation, with the exception of the UN Convention
on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods.

The place of performance of bilateral trade deals is the city of Riga.
